About The Course
This Dangerous Goods Regulation Training is designed to train aviation professionals responsible for the screening of passengers and crew and their baggage, cargo and mail, on the safe handling, transportation, and management of dangerous goods in order to ensure a safe and compliant transportation of those items as per the latest International standard applicable to their job function and including the Competency Based Training and Assessment approach. (ICAO, IATA-DGR).
Requirements
Intermediate Proficiency in English.
Basic knowledge about passengers handling processes.
Security Screening Personnel.
Course Objectives
Recognize dangerous goods.
Identify general limitations.
Position different roles and responsibilities.
Understand the criticality of classification and packaging.
Interpret the hazard communication.
Process/accept cargo other than dangerous goods.
Accept passengers and crew baggage.
Collecting safety data.
Familiarize with basic Emergency Response.
