About The Course
The Upset Prevention and Recovery Training is a combination of theoretical knowledge and flying training with the aim of providing flight crew with the required competencies to both prevent and recover from situations in which an aeroplane unintentionally exceeds the parameters for line operation or training.
Requirements
Aviation English Level 4
Professional Pilots (ATP, CPL Pilots) requiring initial or recurrent.
Course Objectives
Aerodynamic principles of large, swept-wing airplanes.
The ability to recognize situations that may lead to airplane upsets so that they may be prevented.
Airplane flight maneuvering information and techniques for recovering from an airplane upset.
Skills and Knowledges in using upset recovery techniques.
Recognize and confirm airplane upset.
Gain confidence and understanding in maneuvering the airplane during upsets.
Successfully apply proper airplane upset recovery techniques.
Course Content
Aerodynamics principles.
Causes and contributing factors of upsets.
Safety review of accidents and incidents relating to aeroplane upsets.
G-awareness & energy management.
Flight path management.
Upset recognition, prevention and recovery techniques.
System malfunctions .
Specialized training elements .
Human factors.
Additional Course Information

02 days Theoretical & 3 hours practical.
Intensive practical sessions on a fully motioned and certified FSTD (KING AIR 350i (B300/BE350) Proline 21 AATD).
